        Sir,
        Please check whether the answer to the question no 3 in biology answer key is correct...The symptoms given in the question is that of hypothyroidism....But the answer given is myxoedema....The exact symptoms of myxoedyma ( prolonged deficiency of thyroxin in adults ) is not given...
        Symptoms of hypothyroidism:
        * low metabolic rate
        * hypertension
        * inflammation of tissues etc.
        Symptoms of hyperthyroidism
        * high metabolic rate
        * emosional immbalance etc.
        So isn't the symptoms given in the question that of hypothyroidism...?

        The voltage is equal in the parallel connection. But here the value of resistance in series connection is same. Hence the voltage is divided equally.
