ADJECTIVES ARE THE SOUL OF EXPRESSION. IN LITERATURE, ADVERTISING, AND EVERYDAY CONVERSATION, THEY PAINT VIVID IMAGES AND AWAKEN EMOTIONS. WITHOUT ADJECTIVES, LIFE WOULD BE LIKE A SPRING WITHOUT FLOWERS-DULL, COLOURLESS, AND INCOMPLETE.

നാമവിശേഷണങ്ങളുടെ (Adjectives) പ്രധാന ധർമം തിരിച്ചറിയലാകുന്നു, നിറങ്ങാം, ആകൃതികാം, വാസനകാം തുടങ്ങിയ വിശേഷണങ്ങളും നമ്മെ വസ്തുക്കളെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനും വേർതിരിച്ചറിയാനും സഹായിക്കുന്നു. വിശേഷണങ്ങളില്ലാത്ത ഭാഷ വർണമില്ലാത്ത, വിരസമായ, ഭയങ്കരമായൊരു ശൂന്യലോകം പോലെയായിരിക്കും.

3. NUMERAL ADJECTIVES -

Adjectives generally occur in two main positions. വിശേഷണം (Adjective) സാധാരണമായി രണ്ട് സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ വരും.
(a) Attributive Position (നാമത്തിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ) വിശേഷണം നേരിട്ട് നാമത്തെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
