Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), is four-year undergraduate program that deals with tructure of the human body. Candidates eyeing a career as a Physiotherapist can take the BPT course. The course teaches physical movement, post-fracture inanoeuvres, injury, or chronic pain, hip pains, etc.
- Physiotherapy is a kind of treatment that is carried through physical forces such as heat, electricity, mechanical pressure, and mechanical forces. Physical therapy is done in order to maintain and restore maximum mcvement and functional ability throughout the lifespan. Therapy helps to treat disorders without using drugs. Physiotherapists have a thorough understanding of the human anatomy and the intricacies of bones, muscles and nerves.

- After successfully completing the course, 3PT aspirants can find employment opportunities in both the private and government sectors. Physiotherapists play an important role in the health sector and therefore are required at every hospital and health clinics. - They also have the option of pursuing independent practice. Graduates can also pursue a Masters of Physiotherapy for their higher studies or post graduate diploma in physiotherapy and nutrition. BPT course graduates can work as Sports Physio Rehabilitator, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, etc.
Eligibility
- Students who have completed their 10+2 education with science as their major subject are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Physiotherapy course.
- The candidate should have pursued the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects.
- •A Minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent at 10+2 level is mandatory for admission.
